Issue with "Split Line at Vertices" Tool

I am experiencing an issue with the "Split Line at Vertices" tool when using it within ModelBuilder. Specifically, the tool fails when connecting the input variable, and ArcGIS Pro shuts down afterwards.

Can you use the tool outside of modelbuilder on the same fgc without issue?
