Highlight Layer in TOC when Feature is Selected

It would be nice to identify what TOC layer a map feature is sourced from. Ideally, a user could select a feature or open a features property and see it's source. To go further maybe the TOC could bring that features location within the TOC into view. Highlighting the feature source would be another option.
