Can not add folder connection for Network drives in ArcGIS Pro

Question

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to connect to network folders but when I want to add it, I get the network Error Cannot access Y:\.

I can connect to the geodatabase in the same drive and can add data from it but simply can not make a folder connection. Does anybody know how I can solve the problem?

I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2

Does ESRI acknowledge this as a bug to be fixed or do we have to live with it?

Thanks Graeme. I also tried to drag the folder from Windows Explorer into the Catalog view and it worked.

This is a known problem with ArcGIS Pro, you can only connect to a directory/folder not the drive, eg Y:\GIS will work, Y:\ will not work.
