Filter All of the Data Based on Extent of Interest

Hello everyone,

I have an EB showing all the river basins for my State. I want the user to be able to select a river basin (filter widget) and have the map show only data contained within that river basin polygon. Is that possible? The only solutions I can think of are having a filter for each feature layer that the user can select their river basin for or creating separate maps for each river basin. I'm not too fond of either option.

Is there a way to do this that I'm missing? Is Dashboards able to do this? I would really appreciate any advice!

Using query or filter widget you can add two data layers in the content tab(river basins and the second layer) and then in actions tab set one feature layer (the feature layer within the river basins) as the  layer with seelcted records that intersect with the river basin selection.
