I am unable to get the distance between points to display in a dimension feature class

Question

I can only get a zero to display between points in a dimension feature class. I have made a new feature class In Arc Gis Pro 2.3.0. I must be missing something,  after going through all the help files I am unable to get it to measure the distance between points it displays 0.

What is the projection of the dimension feature class? Is it perhaps in geographic coordinates and measuring in decimal degrees?
