I couldn’t figure out why configuring the Web Adaptor ends up with token and access issue as per the screenshots below

"Failed to get administrator token from the server. Please verify that the specified server can be successfully accessed."

The issue here is not the machine name, localhost or IP. It appears to be related to https\http issues.

It should work with:

http://jamalnuman2/adaptor/webadaptor/server

but not with https:

https://jamalnuman2/adaptor/webadaptor/server

despite the fact that the services directory works with both http and https

http://jamalnuman2:6080/arcgis/rest/services

https://jamalnuman2:6443/arcgis/rest/services

Hello Jamal,

I would strongly encourage you to use the DNS / machine name to configure the WA, not the IP.
