Open "Upcoming Events links" in same window

Question

In HUB , the links to Upcoming Events are opening in a new window.  This creates a situation where the user has multiple windows open for one HUB site, which is confusing.  I'm not sure why ESRI would make this the default behavior.

Is there any way to force the Event page to open in the same window?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention @JayJohnsonWashoeCounty. I have entered a bug for this. We strive to limit opening links in new windows per WCAG accessibility guidelines.
