Teams / ArcGIS for Power BI integration

Question

We have a 10.7 enterprise portal that is serving reference layers to a power BI dashboard by way of arcgis for power bi. When we try to open the map via teams, it asks for credentials but then we get a blank page like this with a really long token ttps://lacdn.arcgis.com/powerbi/2021.2.95/oauth-callback.html#access_token=8VKoOMQ3ETVRau3lIjYj_y8x........................

I can open the dash in via a web page through app.powerbi.com and log in with my SAML credentials and everything works. I have allowed CORS in portal security settings..

What gives?

Power BI reports in Teams work as an embed, and depending on whats in the report it may be trying to prompt for credentials but the browser component within Teams blocks the pop up. We're looking into how we can best support these workflows, while still adhering to Microsoft's security model.
