Any way to recover edits that were not saved?

Question

I was doing a lot of editing this afternoon and forgot to save my edits when ArcMap crashed out of the blue.  I'm more familiar with AutoCad, where the program will autosave your file for you in case of a crash, which is ironic because AutoCad never crashed on me as much as ArcMap does.  Does ArcMap save this data anywhere, or is it just gone?

No Autosave feature in ArcMap. You could upvote the idea Add an autosave feature for ArcGIS Desktop.

In ArcGIS Pro, you can save edits at recurring intervals. Settings for saving edits—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop
