Optimised Hot Spot Memory Error

Question

Hello,

I have been using ArcMap 10.2 to analyse Vancutsem et al deforestation data for areas of hotspot activity.

So far I have converted this data from raster to point and then projected the coordinate system into meters try and use in Optimised Hot Spot tool.

I have attached a picture of the memory error that pops up.

If anyone knows what I need to do to fix this please let me know!

I was wondering whether you were able to solve the memory issue?

memory error ... can be do to many things, so how large a dataset were you using and what are the extents and what cell size did you specify.  Also what are your system memory specs.   Another consideration.... 10.2 is no longer supported so any errors associated with previous versions may be fixed in newer versions
