COGO, Quadrant Bearing Directions in .dbf file, Legal Description

In the ArcGIS Desktop version, I am able to open the .dbf file in excel and see the quadrant bearing directions of a line as it is, e.g. S 1-56-18 W. It's easy for me to write the legal description this way. Is there a way to do so in ArcGIS Pro? When I open up the file its in decimal number format.

Maybe try adding a new field with a type of text or double? Then calculate that field using the data from the old field that is a number field.

Thank you. I tried that but once calculated, it still shows the numeric value of the direction.

I looked at why this is happening and you may have to convert the coordinate notation? Here is an information page on it:

I looked into it. But I have a line feature class, which does not have an x, y values. The tool requires an x, y value.

OK... I looked at the COGO tools in ArcGIS Pro... you could try importing the .dbf file as a traverse.

I appreciate you looking this up and responding. I was able to export it to a .txt file. This works but would like to see how others would approach this as I am trying to transition from desktop to Pro. Thank you!
