Updated ArcGIS Online Hosted Feature Layers through ArcGIS Pro

Hello,

I am working on detailing the process for updating my utility datasets that are in ArcGIS Online through ArcGIS Pro. My biggest problem is that if I bring the hosted feature layers into ArcGIS Pro, all of the attribute rules that I have in the local database of the utility data will obviously not run for these updates. What are some best practices that others are using for this process? Do you just simply make the updates in the local database and the batch append those feature class updates to the hosted feature layer? Or are there other practices that may work better? I do not want to overwrite the web layer as some data is collected out in the field through Collector.

Any suggestions, ideas, experiences are appreciated. Thanks!

That's pretty much how we do it.  We do overwrites too but sounds like that isn't  an option for you.
