Repeats

Question

Hi all,

I am just wondering if a form of 'repeat question' is available in Field Maps? Similar to the function in Survey123.

We are collecting data on marine mammals in the field.  Many questions will need to be filled in again to record different numbers of animals hauled out at different times of the tidal cycle.  The problem is time as one may have to travel to six sub-sites to make counts at these sites at times one hour intervals within a single tidal cycle.

Perhaps there is a work around?

It is similar in that each new "entry" is added to the related table. When submitting a related record in Field Maps we show the completed entry in a read only popup form. To add another related record you need to first close this form and tap "Add" again. This may be one extra step when compared to Repeats in Survey123.

@ColinLawrence is this the same as "Repeats" in S123 whereby I can add many related records within the same edit inspection form? For example within S123 I can simple hit the + and add a new related record again and again again. How do I do that within the inspection form of FieldMaps?
