At present, there is a lag between the ESRI World Geocoder and the data seen on the Community Map of Canada. A Locator based on the Community Map of Canada dataset would increase our ability to provide up-to-date geocoding and basemaps for our mapping and analytics products.

The Living Atlas geocoding team informs me that Esri Canada has been working with them to accelerate the inclusion of addresses into the World Geocoder. This should address your concerns once fully implemented.
