portal (level 1) users from outside our organization

Hello,

we want to make a portal internet facing so we can allow costomers to view our maps with data in our enterprise geodatabase

those customers need to authenticate to see the content, is it allowed to make user accounts in the portal for those customers from esri license point of view?

You should reach out to your account manager to check if this goes against the spelled out terms, as licensing is a tricky subject and they will know how to best help you move forward.

indeed esri dont track user accounts inside portal, technical it si easy to do,

so also confirm the esri license agreement it is allowed to make internal portal users from outside your own organization? with a  portal that is internet facing
