Map Action support for Images & Apps

The Classic templates supported an action linked to a button or text to show images and other apps. Action in ArcGIS StoryMaps supports changing display/extent in a map but does not have an option to load alternative content like images, videos or apps.

It would be amazing if this functionality was added to the new story map builder. I dont want to continue using the classic templates if they are going to go away, but that functionality is not available in the new version.

@OwenGeo I see this functionality was changed to In Product Plan back in 2021. Do you have an update for when it might be available?

I'm working on a StoryMap that would benefit from having a "map" action allowing me to switch from the initial image to a secondary image. Happy to provide more detail on the use case if it is helpful.
