We are excited to announce the latest updates are now available for ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud. Enhance your creative projects with the latest features introduced in our June 2024 release. Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud enables creative professionals to access and design with data-driven maps directly inside Adobe’s popular design apps, Illustrator and Photoshop. This release brings a range of new features and improvements designed to enhance your mapping and design experience. Explore what's new:

  • Enhanced Export Capabilities—Use the Print tool in Map Viewer to export your maps or layouts directly as .aix files, streamlining the integration of ArcGIS content into Adobe Illustrator.
  • Advanced Chart Editing in AIX Exports—Improved organization of chart elements in AIX exports. Guide geometry, labels, legend color swatches, series bars, series groups, and statistical elements are now organized into editable layers, giving you more control over your data visualizations.
  • Vector Tile Layer Enhancements—Transparency is now applied to the entire layer in vector tile layers, eliminating visible tile boundary overlaps and ensuring a cleaner, more professional appearance in your map designs.
  • Mapboard Drawing Tool Update—The Draw tool for creating mapboards now automatically deactivates after you finish drawing, allowing for immediate interaction with your mapboard.
  • Improved AIX File Opening Experience—You can now turn off the extension panels that appear each time an .aix file is opened, providing a more streamlined and customized workflow.
  • Switch to Default Mapping Profile—The Legacy Mapping profile setting will be deprecated with this release. We recommend switching to the default mapping profile setting at your earliest convenience.
  • Bug fixes—There have been several bug fixes in this release. See blog for a detailed list of bug fixes.
