Losing NA/Null values when converting Spatial DataFrame to FeatureSet

I just updated to ArcGIS Pro v3.2.1, which has arcgis v2.2.0.1.

After the update, when I convert a Spatial DataFrame to a FeatureSet, all NA values are being lost in the conversion, and are instead being replaced with values of 0, 0.0, or 01/01/1970 (for Int, Float, and Date fields respectively). This is causing a problem when updating a feature service, as these values are being inserted into the service instead of nulls.

This seems like new behavior, as this was not an issue for me prior to updating ArcGIS Pro. Is this working as intended? If so, what is the proper way to preserve null values in the resulting FeatureSet?

For reference, my previous version of ArcGIS Pro was v3.1.1, which had arcgis v2.1.0.2.
