The Esri Water Conference is packed with activities that are focused on supporting water organizations. If you haven't been to the conference this post will help you to describe and justify attending this event. If you have been to the conference....then you know how great it is!

The Esri Water Conference is an annual conference that takes place in February each year. It is hosted by Esri's Global Water Practice and supported by subject matter experts in many areas: mobile, utility networks, solutions, etc. The conference consists of:

• An Opening day Plenary Session
• Technical sessions by Esri Solution Engineers
• Paper/User presentations highlighting the use of Esri technology in water organizations
• An Expo packed with Esri Partners that offer solutions and services to the water industry
• A Hands on Learning Lab that allows you to learn GIS at your own pace.
• A Mobile Adventure that provides hands on experience using Esri mobile apps.

I can’t solve all of your email woes, but I can help with the email that you receive from Esri. Did you know that you can choose what information Esri shares with you? You don’t have to get all of the Esri email. There are many options for product notifications, publications, training, and events. There are also specific industries that you can choose to hear from.

In two steps you can take control. Follow the guide below to review and define your preferences. By doing this you can ensure that you get the information that is important to you…and not what isn’t.

Step 1:

Go to go.esri.com/preferences and enter your email address.

Step 2:

Select the options for each category that you would like to receive information about:

• Product Announcements
• Print Publications
• Digital Publications
• Training
• Esri and GIS Events (Esri Water Conference)
• Industry Announcements (Be sure to choose Water) 🙂   
• Alliances
