Function barrier not working: returning all upstream segments

Hello, I am running ArcGISPro 3.0.0

I am trying to trace streams that are 1 mile (5280 ft) upstream from my starting point. Using the settings shown in the photo, the trace returns all upstream segments instead of just 1 mile upstream. Can anyone spot what I am doing wrong? Thank you!
