I am new to the Presence-only Prediction tool and am using it to model species distribution in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.2, similar to how it was used in this post with the desert tortoise: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/analytics/presence-only-prediction-maxent-101-u.... My run outputs indicated a low omission rate, a decently high AUC, and a high percentage of records classified as presence. I am wanting to adjust some of the parameters and rerun it, following the tips in this page: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/analytics/eight-tips-to-help-you-make-better-pr....

Others that I am working with have indicated they would like to see something along the lines of a TSS value. My understanding is that this tool is a “Maxent approach,” and not necessarily a true MaxEnt model. I was wondering if there was a way to calculate a TSS value using the outputs of the Presence-only Prediction tool. I know there are R scripts available to calculate the TSS value from MaxEnt outputs; I wanted to inquire if the outputs from the Presence-only could be used in the same way to calculate TSS, and if so, if anyone know of which values from the Presence-only would fit best in the calculation...

Thank you!
