Copies of Archived Tutorials Now Available
The ArcGIS Tutorial Gallery, contains over 300 tutorials with real-world examples of using GIS to solve problems. Our team is constantly updating and refreshing these tutorials to ensure that we showcase GIS best practices. Occasionally that means we need to archive tutorials if they are no longer realistic or if the workflow is no longer best practice.
We are happy to announce that when we archive a tutorial, we will provide a copy of the original tutorial in the Archived Learn ArcGIS tutorials group. This group contains Word document versions of previously archived tutorials in all languages. Click on the Content tab to see a list of archived tutorials.
Because these tutorials are archived, we will no longer be updating these documents. Based on our copyright terms, you are free to download the tutorial, make edits, adapt for your needs, and share.

Why would a tutorial be archived?
We will archive a tutorial if the workflow is no longer best practice, if the data is no longer available, or if the workflow can not be updated due to product enhancements.
How will I know if a tutorial will be archived?
If a tutorial will be archived, a message will appear on the tutorial 60 days before the archival date. This message will also link to the copy of the tutorial that you may download and save.
Where can I access previously archived content?
You can access archived content in the group, Archived Learn ArcGIS tutorials.
