The purpose of this article is to notify the reader of unique details specific to this exam version. This exam is currently ‘In-Development’ and expected to be published on 12 March 2024. 

  • When a new exam version is created, it is issued key exam preparation resources: an Exam Details Page in Esri Academy Catalog, and Exam Information Guide, a Learning Plan, and an Esri Community Article.
  • When the operational exam is published, an updated EIG will also be published.

Key Resources for the Beta Exam

Visit the Exam Details Page in Esri Academy to access the ArcGIS Online Administration 2024 Learning Plan and the Beta Exam Information Guide. 

  • To prepare for the exam, interested candidates can ‘Wish List’ and 'Enroll' in the learning plan.
  • To prepare for exam day, 'Wish List' the beta exam and visit Esri Community to mark your calendar and receive an email when the beta exam appointment window opens. 
  • The Beta Exam registration appointment window will be open from 11/29/2023 to 12/18/2023.

Additionally, the Exam Information Guide (EIG) for this beta exam version will be updated when the operational exam is published on 12 March 2024.

Expected Exam Version Enhancements

  • Re-evaluate the expertise recommendation and re-classify within the Associate Level
  • Create an enhanced score report to provide section level performance pass/fail ratings
  • Review all sections and objectives to ensure they properly align with the latest software version
  • Grow the exam content to support 65-questions and 4-sections.
