Hello,

I need to manage sensitive data in my Enterprise Geodatabase, and would like to encrypt the data.  I am aware that Esri is -supporting TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) both for MS SQL Server and Oracle, but with TDE the Database-Administrator is still able to see the data in the database, which is not acceptable in our case.

Is Esri supporting this kind of encryption, e.g. row based encryption (Oracle), Oracle Label Security (Oracle) or "Always Encryped" (MS SQL Server)?

thanks for your help!

kind regards, Nicole

Hello, @NicoleSulzberger!
The answere to your question, unfortunetly is no. Esri do not support this type of encryption yet.

Other options for encryption are this:

@RafaelFernandesdeSouza is there any workaround that you know of to store encrypted data in a geodatabase? Ex. Credit card numbers?
