Hello!
I've created multiple time enabled maps that will show me the time animation in ArcGIS Pro, and continue to do so when exported as a web map to ArcGIS Online. But once I add the web map to the Story Maps, it will not do the time animation, and it appears that my time interval is resetting everytime I fix it. I reset the time interval, save the web map, and then it gets the same error that says "No Time Extent."
I believe the reason my animation isn't working is due to the time interval effectively being 0 and thus not animating because there is no data filtered. But how do I get it to save and use the proper interval (1 year, sometimes 1 month).
Thank you for any and all help!
Hi @MarjorieRhodes ,
Could you share your other time-enabled layers settings within the Time slider options? And if possible, could you share a screen shot of the failure to add the time-enabled layer in the story?
I'd make sure the time-enabled layer uses the "Play from position saved with the map" Playback position setting. Other than that, I'm curious what the start/end time and intervals are set to if the time isn't registering.

Hi Abby,
It appears that every time I reopen the web map, regardless of what I set it to before, it resets. I have to click to go back into the time slider to get it to restart.
Attached are photos of the time slider initially when I open the webmap, and the settings when I open them.
