Open tab "Selection" on the Contents pane programatically

As an Add-In developer (ArcGIS Pro 3.3), I want to give the users of my Add-In a comfortable shortcut. I want to add a button on my ribbon, which opens the contents pane, and opens the selection tab.

This is especially useful for my customers which are used to their old ArcMap toolbar, which offered this functionality:

(Button with german text, translates to "organzize selectable layers")

Is there a possibility to interact with the contents pane to activate one of its tabs?

Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to continue working on this problem. Due to changed priorities, I will deal with other things.
