I downloaded the building footprint usa dlpk file. But the area I will use is not in the USA. I want to use it for some areas in Europe and Asia. I tried with the dlpk file for usa but the result was not good. How can I do it?

I'd love to help further, @sevinc4maps —Member Introductions also isn't the correct location for your post, but I can see how you took that to be the suggestion from my first message. As a result, I've removed your duplicate post published there. Which ArcGIS Product are you using? I'll be more than happy to help move this post to the correct location based on the product.

I've just moved the post to our ArcGIS Pro Questions Board, so you're now all set. In the future, you can search through our Places and User Groups for the best area to post to by exploring our All Communities area, or using the search bar on the Home Page to look for the product you're using and then filter down to its Questions Board. Stay well!

I read your post but am unclear on your ask.

Are you asking for better data based in US for the footprints?

Are you asking for footprint data in Europe or Asia?

I want to try footprint extraction with deep learning in Azerbaijan.  I downloaded and tried building footprint extraction .dlpk file but the result was not good. Probably because it's for USA. Is there a way to get good results from the area I will try?

Hi @sevinc4maps
You're right, the model is trained with USA imagery where building topography can be different. As we speak there are 4 ready to use ArcGIS Pretrained Building Footprint Extraction models for different geographies:

Africa: https://lnkd.in/gHJi64Xp
Australia: https://lnkd.in/gjS9B5aG
China: https://lnkd.in/geQa-bjM
USA: https://lnkd.in/gR7CEhaU

You can fine tune (retrain) the USA model with some of your training data. Here are  examples to learn how you can fine tune (repurpose) existing models

Fine tune a pretrained deep learning model

Note: We have an Arcgis Image Analyst dedicated community and here you might get response sooner.

Cheers!
