Is there a way to update the template on an excising project. (where the project (.aprx) is based on a older version of the same template).
We have a template (.aptx) and some add-ins(.esriAddinX). The files are distributed to the users.
The template contains a geodatabase, tasks and reports.
In most cases it is an easy task for the users to update the add-ins.
It is primarily updating the Tasks and Reports we wish to simplify.
Our current way of updating the project to get the new/updated reports and tasks, is to create a new project based on the new template and copy the gdb from the old project to the new project.
We can also update the reports by deleting the old report from the project, import the new report (and point to the correct source).
