My layout is using a table frame imported from Excel. In Excel my measured acres column is formatted to consistently display 2 decimal places. When displayed in the table in Pro the table frame only displays cell values with non-zero digits. I've tried to do my due diligence in searching online and within this community for answers. I found this tips article that suggests that number formatting is possible:

Ten Tips for Tables in Layouts

4. Number Formatting

The appearance of numbers in your table reflects the number formatting settings in the table fields view. You can adjust these settings to show numbers as currency, percentages, and other formats. You can also control the number of decimal places displayed and whether a thousands separator is shown.

but when I follow these instructions I don't see any number formatting options available. I've included a screenshot of what I am looking at - you can see what I have selected in the contents pane and the field properties that seem to be available to edit, none of which have any decimal place display options. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Highlight the Excel worksheet in the Standalone Tables section under the relevant MapFrame in the Contents pane of the Layout.

  • Click Fields in the Data Design Group. This opens a Fields View.
  • Click the ellipsis ... in the Number Format column for the target field:

  • Set Decimal Places to 2.
  • Check on Pad with zeroes -->  OK --> Save.
  • Close Fields View.

This shows 2 decimal places with padded zeroes.
