Hi there,

I Have a large 3d-tiles dataset which I would like to cut and than export as a new smaller dataset. During the last few days I tried multiple ArcGIS tools but none of them was able to answer my demand.

The most I could get with the software is converting the 3d-tiles into an Integrated Mesh - slpk file (which took couple of hours) and than use the Mask modification.

Is there an option to export a 3d-tiles in arcGIS, or any kind of 3d?

What approach would you recommend?

Much appreciated,

Dekel

Hi,

The first release of 3D Tiles in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 only supports reading and visualizing workflows. We are looking into supporting modification of 3D tiles in the next release or two. Data management workflows such as Clip likely wouldn't come until later. The workflow you mentioned of converting 3D tiles to slpk is the best approach at this point in time. If you want to track this down the road then I would recommend creating an ArcGIS Idea and then I can update the status of the idea as we have more information.

thanks,

Andrew
