Having the "Copy Path" option in the data context menu

copying the file/data path from Catalog pane is only available from Ribbon menu. See below:

It would be great to have the "Copy Path" option in the context menu of the data as well.

Thank you very much for your feedback!  This functionality is included in the forthcoming ArcGIS Pro 3.0.

This is a great idea, drives me nuts that copying the path can only be done from the ribbon, the context menu would be much more productive.

As Naicong stated, you can expect to see this in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 scheduled to be available June 23rd.

This functionality has been added in ArcGIS Pro 3.0. See Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 3.0  for all of the other ideas you can look forward to when you upgrade.
