I'm wondering if there's a way to get the service for some tiled imagery layers to retain their symbology and metadata when adding them to ArcGIS Pro projects via the REST endpoint url.
For context, I am the owner of the layers, which are raster tiled imagery layers. Their metadata is attached to the ArcGIS Online Webpage , and their symbology is saved to the layer via the map viewer. These layers retain the information as desired when opened in AGOL, or in ArcGIS Pro via the "Open in ArcGIS Desktop" button which downloads a .pitemx file. However, these .pitemx files open a new ArcGIS project, but the desired use for these layers is to add them to existing maps.
When they are added to a map via their REST endpoint the data loads fine, but without symbology and metadata. Is there a workaround for this?
