ArcGIS Web AppBuilder - Widget

Hi everyone,

I am seeking your assistance in making the filter option to work in my web app. 
I am using a tab theme for my ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, and I included the web map, and applied all the filters needed to present the targeted data.

When it comes to the widget, I am struggling to apply the filter option as it is not actually working properly. As shown in my screenshot, all the filters were turned off, however, all of my symbols are still shown on the map. I assigned symbols while creating and editing my map. Then I had to choose icons to each feature from the widget.

Can you please advise me how to show my icons on the map without showing the original symbols that were created earlier?
