Add roles to groups to control membership

It would be great if you could add a role to a group to control membership of that group.

We have set up some organisation wide groups - but we aren't using the 'share to organisation' option.  We have different types of users - most are regular internal staff but we also have 'external' contractors who have access to information in our AGOL. We have set up different roles so external contractors only have access to what they actually need to do their job.  For some of our 'organisation wide' groups, external contractors are being excluded so they don't have access to all our data. 

However this means we have to add all our internal staff to these groups and manage this individually.  If we could add a role e.g. Internal Viewer (we have custom roles) to the group then as people move in and out of this role that would control membership of the group.

This would cut down on admin - and anything that does that is welcome.
