In the NEW EXPLORE SEARCH, it appears that the URL for each of our items is no longer using the item title and instead is using the Item ID.

  1. The Item ID on the main /EXPLORE page has Item ID in the URL.
    1.       E.g., https://gbp-blm-egis.hub.arcgis.com/datasets/4a73ec244ee84bc3aea00592fdc7b835_2/explore
  2. For the /ABOUT page the Item Title displays in the URL (which is what we would expect).
    1.       E.g., https://gbp-blm-egis.hub.arcgis.com/datasets/BLM-EGIS::blm-natl-nlcs-wilderness-areas-polygons/about

Question: Is this intended, or part of the transition to the new Explore Search, and will it be that way when Classic Search is disabled?

@KristenWobbe1unfortunately we've discovered bugs in the past where routing by title was brittle and links could break. We're currently investing ways to bring back support for routing by title, but at this time the new serch view will route by item ID.

Okay Tom, thanks for the reply, and for letting us know!

(The URL appears to be displaying both ways currently.)
