This scenario is based on a cemetery EXB viewer I've created. I have spatial layers for the gravesites and 2 related tables: owners & burials. I would like to use the search widget to search by internment name (found in the burial table) however it obviously can't zoom to anything. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do or if I should import at least the names from my burials table to the spatial gravesites layer so I can search by that and have it open the popup I want them to see. At least in the popup I can customize it to show data from the gravesites layer and allow the ability to click and view data from related tables. Wish I didn't have to because having the names in 2 places is redundant.
I am using AGOL for this.
Hi Laura,
Thank you for pointing this out. Using a related table to look up spatial data is not currently supported by ExB. We will look into this feature further to see if it can be enhanced.
Thanks,
Ke
Great, thank you! Do you have any insight as to what the best workaround might be for now?
