Filter Widget creates a dead zone in Experience Builder

Hello GIS Community, I'm making the transition to ExB and I'm having a big problem with the Filter Widget. It appears to be just like the filter in WAB but when I create the filters for various point types in my data, navigation and popups become non-functional in my published experience.

I realized after some trial and error that the Filter widget causes a "dead zone" to appear in the middle of the viewing window on the published app. Weird huh?

Thinking that having the Filter widget on the map may be causing interference, I tried removing the Group Filter, and applying individual SQL statements. Same dead zone appears. Thinking that the filter may be interacting negatively with the map window navigation, I moved the filter widget to a fixed panel, same dead zone. I moved it to a widget controller, and then to a sidebar - same non-functional area in the center of the map. Navigation and popups only work as expected on the outside edges of the ExB app. Removing the Filter Widget brings back all navigation and popup functionality. How frustrating!

Has anyone else ran into this issue and/or is there any way to get around this problem?

I figured it out, but I don't like it. The table widget footprint in a sidebar is somehow engaged/present even though it isn't active - that is the dead zone area.

Remove the sidebar, add the table to the controller and configure. Go on about your day.

I think that's because your map also needs to be in the sidebar widget.
