Dashboard Splash Screen

Is there anyway to have a splash screen pop-up for the Dashboard similar to what's available with the WebApp?

Hi, Derek,

I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 Dashboard application. I need to implement a splash screen. I try to use the link you provide for the work around. However, the link doesn't see working. IS the document still available?

Hi, Derek @DerekLaw 

I dig the arcgis blog site to find the document you provided, and only found that it has been replaced by the latest ArcGIS Online document. However, the work around is still useful for my departement. We are still using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1, and have on plan to upgrade to 11.3 for 11.4 at moment. 

IS there a way to find the old work around document please?

The document was referenced in a post from 5 years ago and I did not own the blog. I am guessing the author removed it because of the newly added capability in ArcGIS Dashboards with support for a splash screen. 

As I recall, I believe the workaround was to embed your ArcGIS Dashboard app within an ArcGIS Experience Builder app and leverage the latter app's functionality, like the Add windows capability.

I think this work around might not be suitable for me. The Splash screen feature is only available for ArcGIS Experience builder version 11.3 onward. We are still using the 10.9.1. 😥

I will continue to search around. 

Please let me know if you have other information regarding to the customisation of splash screen on the dashboard application.

Maybe you could try embedding a dashboard within an ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app and leverage its splash screen widget?
