I've seen this once in a while and you've clearly seen it, but I've found it impossible to duplicate. You have a good workaround for it at this point, but if you want to go back to a bigger title, there may be a way. Since the app is failing to shift the separator bar and the title after the image comes in, one idea that I have until I can duplicate the problem is to force the separator bar and the title to where they would go once the app knows the width of the image. For a 210-pixel image such as you are using, if you add 4 pixels to it to allow for the right-side margin for the logo image, you get a left-side offset for the title separator of 214 pixels. The title has a left-side margin of 8 pixels, so it can use this same offset. In file configuration/styles.css, add the following lines to the bottom: .titleSeparator {left:214px}
#mainTitle {left:214px}

The address information was consciously removed from the parcel editing workflows because they are not specifically related - and their maintenance life-cycles are typically quite different. In other words, you can have multiple site addresses on a given parcel and it's much more efficient to manage them as unique points; not as a part of your parcel layers. In addition, parcels can be split without an impact on the address information; or address can be created during a permit process without any impact on the underlying parcels.The ArcGIS for Local Government solution provides two editing maps to help you manage these fundamental data layers. The Address Data Management map can be used to manage authoritative address and road centerline information - essentially to assemble a central address repository. Addresses can then be integrated in other business systems (ie. Mass Appraisal, Tax Receivables, 911, Permitting). The Tax Parcel Editing map can be used to manage your parcel information and publish it for other users in your organization. If address information is shared with your Mass Appraisal system, then it can then be joined with your parcel information during the parcel publishing process. In this case, parcels would be extracted from your parcel fabric and simple features would be constructed - then parcel attributes coming from your Mass Appraisal system would be joined to the publishing features and the TaxParcelPublishing feature class would be created. A sample publishing script is included in the Tax Parcel Editing map. Feel free to contact us via email if you'd like to discuss this more fully.

There is an alternate road name (alias) available in the MasterStreetName table. You can populate an alternate local road name in this table and then populate the features with the appropriate road name and route. The road centerlines have a primary and secondary route designation for each segment too. So in theory, you could have a road segment with a primary road name, a road name alias,a primary and secondary federal and state route designation, and finally a county route designation. The Address Data Management video shows how the MasterStreetName table works in conjunction with the RoadCenterline and SiteAddressPoint feature classes.

There is a version of the Public Comment application available for ArcGIS 10 and ArcGIS 10.1. We are testing a configuration of the app using hosted services you can author with an Online Subscription. We'll update this post once the testing is complete.

Just one more note. There is a sample python script in the Tax Parcel Editing Map that will help you create a publishing process for your organization. The publishing process we documented helps users quickly get access to property information in the information popup and query against these characteristics in a simple web mapping application. The approach or design you take will be defined or impacted greatly by the information products you wish to produce.

No problem Angela. Here are a few tips to get you started. First take a look at the ParkRecInfo table in the Local Government Information Model. Add any fields you'll need to properly convey the recreation activities in your parks. You can add fields to this table and set them up just like the rest of the activity fields present in the table already. Once you've got the table configured properly, populate the Yes/No flags properly for each park. After you've got your data populated properly and the map services published, you can add those recreation activities to the Park and Rec Finder's config file and wire up the correct National Park Service symbology. We've provided a complete set of the NPS symbols with the application so you'll just have to find the symbol for volleyball and enter it in the config file. Hope this helps. And don't hesitate to contact Esri Support Services if you need any further assistance.

We will be adding the ability to print directions to the park in the next release of the app. We did not intend to include a screen shot of the map in our original spec (just the directions) but can see if that can in fact be included in the final spec for this new release. We have several other enhancements planned for the app as well including: ? A new universal app that works on smartphones, tablets and desktop PCs ? Photo galleries for each park ? Citizen comments ? New search functionality You could deploy the current version of the app now and then just update the app when its available this fall. Or, push through with the changes now. We have a simple HTML print function in the Public Notification app ?? you could look there for inspiration in the meantime. Hope this helps.

The Polling Place application uses a feature service to log comments for a given polling place. The feature service is not related to the routing. We have not tested the latest version of the application with a map service and would encourage you to do so before deciding not to use the feature service.

We wanted to be clear that the maps and sample data are from Bloomfield Township, MI not Naperville, IL. There is no difference aside from the sample data provided. In previous releases, the names were the same and is was difficult for users to ascertain the difference. From a design perspective, the two are identical but we'd always encourage you to use the schema provided with the Local Government Information Model download. Additional information is available in the release notes.

The ArcGIS for Local Government Address Editing Map treats every address as a unique point in the Site Address feature class. And as you dig in to the model, you'll see that you can identify the different unit and types that would be required to uniquely locate a vertical address. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Matt; The simple data loader can not be used if you are attempting to load data in to a feature class that participates in a geodatabase relationship or network. The Polling Place Feature Class has two relationship classes that are associated with it. One table is called PrecinctPollingPlace and it is used to manage the relationship of 1toM precincts to a single polling place. The second table is called PollingPlaceComment and this table is used to store comments submitted by the public about a given polling place (new functionality coming in an update to the ArcGIS for Local Government Polling Place application later this month). You'll find more detail on these relationships in the Data Dictionary that accompanies the Local Government Information Model. Instead of using the simple data loader, you can append your data to this feature class in ArcMap or use GP to load your data. Hope this helps. Scott

You may be able to delete the portions of the model not supported in ArcView from the sample GDB provided with each map and app and then create your own XML schema when complete. Esri Support may have some other options for you so don't hesitate to contact them if necessary.
