Smart Editor Widget - How to unselect polygon

Hello,

I am using the the smart editor widget to add features to a polygon feature class. It works fine, but what I'm finding is that after the polygon is closed, the attribute information is added and 'save' is clicked, the polygon remains selected. I'm finding that I need to open the attribute table at the bottom of the screen and 'clear selection' and then zoom the map out for the polygon to be unselected.

There must be something I'm missing?

I was just testing this again and found that the shape unselected after 'clear selection'. So that's a little better than what I'd found before. Still would be nice if it unselected after the save.

  Normally I just click on the map somewhere there is no feature to unselect

Another way is to click the 'back' button of the smart editor pane until you completely exit out of the feature's attributes.

Also, the general settings of the smart editor widget has an option to 'Remove feature from selection on save'
