Link to Network Server File

Is it possible to add a link to a network server file in the About widget?

  Sure you can open the About widgets settings in WAB and add your hyperlink by clicking the link button in the settings dialog.

I have successfully added links using http but I need to link to a file instead.  I was able to do this in the About widget in Operation Dashboard, but linking to a file on a network server is not working in WAB.

Jeff,

  I never use actual network link files in a web app (just not good practice). You should take that network share folder and setup a virtual directory in IIS (if that is your web server) that way you have an actual url to use in you about link.
