The lateral distance was 0, skipping this feature message

Hello,

Hope I am posting this in the right area. I am working on adding a block of code to the loaded.water.config for the Water Utility Network Editing toolbar. The code is designed to allow a user to plot a fire service and then click the add laterals at connections to create the lateral and associated point features. When I click the add laterals at connections everything gets created as expected but I get a message that says The lateral distance was 0, skipping this feature. I have no idea where this is coming from nor how to get rid of/fix it. Attached is the block of code in question.

Scott,

  I will need to test next week, but I think the issue is you are searching for a main and creating a main.  Could you try creating the service line in another line layer to see if that changes anything?  I will set up a repo case when I am back in the office and see what is going on.
