I can't locate the Assign River Order tool in ArcHydro.

I've seen discussion online for an "Assign River Order" attribute tool with ArcHydro, but I can't seem to find it. Can Someone help me out? It's exactly what I need.

Are they referencing the Stream Order function in Spatial Analyst instead?  Will this accomplish what you need?

I want to assign strahler orders to a vector network. The stream order tool

from spatial analyst > hydrology only calculates for rasters.

There is an older GeoNet thread where users expressed similar issues with not finding the tool in ArcHydro:

The answer apparently is that it can be found at:

Zichuan Ye

(1) to to assign river order, you can use Assign River Order tool of ArcHydroToolbox (Toolboxes\System Toolboxes\Arc Hydro Tools.tbx\Attribute Tools).

Based on what is posted in the thread, it appears that one has to run it from the Toolbox directly.  It is not on the ArcHydro pulldowns.  (I don't have ArcHydro to check).
