Yes, I am a newbie-tard, who's just wasted 2hours on DaFS of the resources and help menus to no avail.

I have just gotten the student release of Arc10, and I am trying to develop a hydro model of a quarry for a class project.

Where do I find the "how to use" manual for the Hydrology Tools under Spatial Analyst? I've converted my contours to raster, now what? The "Overview" is just that, and everything else seems to lead back to the "Overview", but nothing says A) start here B) do this C) step 3 D) Voila! A surface water model!

Thanks

I did a quick search and the second hit I looked at looks like about what I would share with you if I had the time. Check it out.

Hi!
ever thought about using ArcHydrotools? ftp://ftp.esri.com/ArcHydro/Setup10/2.0.1.125/
It is an extension you have to install. I didn't use it in ArcGis10 but in 9.3 it was foolproof with a good documentation
Good Luck
