Hi,

Is there a way to estimate the 5-, 10-, 15-, 25-, and 100-year flows using the Unit Hydrograph method in Pro or ArcMap?  Or do I need to use HEC-HMS software (or HEC GeoHMS and HEC GeoRAS for ArcMap)?

I'm currently using ModelBuilder in ArcGIS Pro 3.4 to:

  1. Delineate watersheds based on culvert points, and
  2. Estimate 5-, 10-, 15-, 25-, and 100-year flows using a Rational Method equation and GIS layers such as rainfall data, a terrain layer, the longest flow path, and watershed DEM.

However, I understand that the Unit Hydrograph method is generally more appropriate for estimating flows for larger watersheds and I would like to compare the results from the Rational Method and Unit Hydrograph method.

Thank you for any advice or experience you can share!
