I am a completely newbie in working with Arc Hydro Tools and Hec Geo HMS - but has previously experience from MIKE Basin. I discover that HecGeoHMS is based on the functions of ArcHydroTools - but my big concern is about what is REALLY the major differences between those two tools? Is it recommendable to begin the modelling in ArcHydro Tools or HecGeoRas - and what is the pros/cons related to the two tools?
Hoping to hear from more advanced users to start on the right spot!
