Arc Hydro re-installation woes

My computer was recently upgraded from ArcMap 10.4 to ArcMap 10.7. I jumped through all our IT department's hoops to uninstall the older version of Arc Hydro and install the newer version associated with 10.7.

Now the Arc Hydro Python toolbox isn't working. Specifically, I can't get the DEM Reconditioning tool to work. I prefer the Python toolbox because I don't have to convert my input raster streams to a polyline, only to have the DEM Reconditioning tool convert those polylines back to rasters within the tool's script. (Unlike with the Arc Hydro toolbox, which forces you to enter your streams as a vector.)

I keep getting the following error with the Arc Hydro Python DEM Reconditioning tool:

['line 237', 'c:\\program files (x86)\\arcgis\\desktop10.7\\ArcToolbox\\Scripts\\ArcHydro\\demreconditioning.py', "TypeError: bad operand type for abs(): 'NoneType'"]

I have used these exact same inputs previous to the upgrade with no problem. I installed the 10.7 patch, and I'm still stumped.
