I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Esri User Conference West Africa 2024 in Abuja, Nigeria , and it was a truly inspiring experience! The conference brought together professionals from across the region to explore innovative geospatial solutions and share insights on how GIS can drive impactful change in Africa.
From attending the insightful sessions to networking with industry leaders and peers, I gained fresh perspectives on how geospatial technology can address key challenges in environmental management, urban planning, and sustainable development.
One of the highlights for me was exploring the latest advancements in ArcGIS 3.3(though I use it), and I left with new ideas on how to incorporate these tools into my projects. It was an enriching experience, and I look forward to applying the knowledge gained to continue leveraging GIS for positive change!
