Are your family and/or children coming with you to User Conference in San Diego this year?

If the answer is yes, make sure to check out the Esri Kids Fair!

Different from KiddieCorp Childcare, Esri Kids Fair introduces GIS through educational and hands-on activities while you spend time with your children.

This year’s theme is Biomes, and there will be a variety of activities for your kids to participate in, including:

  • Learning about birds in grasslands,
  • Studying leaves found in a forests,
  • Learning about freshwater environments,
  • Learning about deserts,
  • Building an ArcGIS StoryMap story about the rainforests,
  • And more!

Kids will earn a prize after completing age-appropriate activities and filling up their ‘passport’ with stickers. This should take 1-2 hours total. Please note that the activities do not need to be completed all at once—you are able to come and go throughout the week.

  • Who can attend:
    • Ages 5 to 14 are welcome to participate. A parent or guardian must be present at all times. Registration is not required; the event is free
  • Location:
    • Marriott Marquis Marina San Diego, North Tower

  • Dates & Times:
    • Tuesday, July 15 | 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
    • Wednesday, July 16 | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
    • Thursday, July 17 | 8:30 AM–2:00 PM
