We've been investigating a cross platform ArcGIS mobile solution. From this work we have released GeoMobile for ArcGIS. This is a free mobile application which allows users to add their own ArcGIS layers to a map viewer. The app also includes a number of ArcGIS tools. We think the work has considerable potential in the transportation sector. At the moment we are very interested in feedback; areas people might see a use for a flexible custom viewer of this type. We have launched the application in an effort to stimulate conversation. We have a write up and video of the application in action, plus our work on offline mobile ArcGIS here:
